Authorities are on the lookout for two inmates who have been reported missing from a satellite camp near Yazoo City Low, a federal correctional institution.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirms that 38-year-old Javier Del Rio-Larios and 31-year-old Celestino Valdez were discovered missing from the correctional facility on Monday at approximately 4:30 p.m.
WJTV reports that Valdez was sentenced to serve 10 years for possession with intent to distribute a mixture containing 500 grams or more of methamphetamine and 100 grams or more of heroin. He was also involved in aiding, abetting, and possessing a firearm during a drug trafficking crime.
Rio-Larios was given more than14 years in prison for possessing with intent to distribute over 500 grams of methamphetamine.
The United States Marshals Service is urging anybody with information that could lead authorities to the two suspects to call (601) 608-6800.
