Authorities are investigating after skeletal remains were discovered in Tishomingo County.
According to the county coroner, Mack Wilemon, the remains were found Friday morning between Midway and Iuka in a field along County Road 181.
Trained canines were utilized by law enforcement to search the field.
At this time, the deceased has not been identified.
