JACKSON, Miss. – State unemployment numbers are out and more-and-more Mississippians are finding jobs.
The states unemployment fell from 6.5 to 6.3 percent between July and August.
When compared to last year the magnolia state is doing very well. At this time in 2014 about 11,000 more people were without jobs.
The state still isn’t out of the woods just yet. When compared to the rest of the country, Mississippi has the 5th highest jobless rate.
