WALNUT GROVE, MISS– Leake County Sheriff Greg Waggoner says they’ve got an arrest warrant for the person responsible for the Walnut Grove shooting over the weekend; but they’re having to wait for him to be released from the hospital.
When police arrived at a Walnut Grove home Saturday, they found Tonya Johnson Barton, dead. Luke Barton and Donald Johnson had to be rushed to the hospital.
Now Sheriff Waggoner says they’ve got an arrest warrant for Luke, Tonya’s estranged husband. Police say he shot at Johnson’s car, Johnson, and eventually shot Tonya Barton in the head.
