PONTOTOC COUNTY, Miss. — An arrest has been made in a husband and wife double murder case in Pontotoc County.
Investigators would not immediately release the suspect’s name, but said he was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with two counts of capital murder. More details are expected to be release during a 1 p.m. press conference today.
A family member found the bodies of Donald Baker, 70 and Evelyn Baker 57, inside their home in the Shady Grove community Sunday. Both had been severely beaten.
