NATCHEZ, Miss. — An argument over a cigarette in Natchez on Thursday morning turned into the murder of one man.
The Natchez Democrat reports two men were arguing about a cigarette being in the home of one of them and things escalated quickly.
Apparently Kendrick Tolbert ran outside of the house, witnesses say with a 3-year-old in his arms, and McKinley Bradley followed him out front and shot him from behind.
The report states Tolbert was shot in the right shoulder and the bullet exited through his chest, but left the child unharmed.
An arrest warrant was issued for Bradley on Thursday night and no murder weapon has been recovered so far.
