An anonymous complaint led to a major drug bust in Tupelo.
The North Mississippi Narcotics unit received a complaint last Wednesday of illegal drug activity, which prompted officers with the Tupelo Police Department to stop a vehicle on South Gloster Street.
According to police, the driver, later identified as 26-year-old Reginald Denman, fled on foot but was quickly captured by law enforcement.
Authorities recovered a substantial quantity of hydrocodone, a felony amount of marijuana, over $22,000 in cash, a Glock 19 9mm handgun, and an American Tactical AR-15 pistol.
Denman is charged with felony trafficking of hydrocodone and felony possession of marijuana. His bond was set at $100,000.
