PEARL, Miss.–Lincoln Green was missing and an Amber Alert was issued early Thursday. The four and a half year old was abducted in Pearl and Richard Green was taken into custody early Thursday.
The alert was canceled just after 5:30 a.m. Warren Strain, with the MBI, said that a truck driver spotted the vehicle and recognized it thanks to the Alert, and called 911. That put that Highway Patrol district on a higher alert.
A Pike County deputy spotted the vehicle at mile marker 8 on I-55, headed toward Louisiana. That’s where Green was stopped and arrested. He was being held at the Pike County Jail until Pearl Police could go and bring him back.
