BILOXI, Miss.- A jet show that brought crowds of over 100,000 people will return to Mississippi after four years.
The Keesler Air Force Base announced Thursday the air shows will take place April 11-12, 2015. The performers will be announced at a later date.
The shows were stopped in 2011 due to federal budget cuts, but Keesler spokesperson Jerry Taranto told the Sun Herald restrictions are being loosened.
The last two shows were in 2009 and 2011 bringing in crowds of 142,000 and 160,000 people to the base.
Taranto said when the opportunity presented itself, the base jumped at the chance to bring the shows back to Mississippi.
