PASCAGOULA, Miss. – A Pascagoula mom is accused of forcing hot liquid down her daughter’s throat leaving the child with burns and whipping her so hard her upper arm was fractured.
Shetara Millender will stand trail April 14 on four charges of felony child abuse involving the 10-year-old. The girl has been treated for her injuries and is recovering.
Millender is being held at the Jackson County jail. If convicted, she could get up to life in prison.
