LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Miss.–Found with his grandmother in Bogalusa, Louisiana Wednesday, an 11-year-old boy kidnapped by two men in Lauderdale County was not hurt. Now police are turning their attention to the grandmother and just how the kidnapped child ended up there.
This is how it went down. Deputies told media that the kidnapper, described only as a black male, knocked on the boy’s home’s front door. The perp asked about a man who lived there and when the person who answered the door opened it to give them a phone number, the kidnapper and an assistant, who may have been hiding outside, rushed the house and too the boy, Tyreon Brim.
The man who answered the door said they pistol whipped him, then pointed a gun at him while they robbed him, before leaving with the child.
WTOK in Meridian reported law enforcement now believe the grandmother may have had it done.
The child was on his way home Wednesday.
