CLARKE COUNTY, Miss.- The woman’s body found in the woods in Clarke County has been identified as 28-year-old Cierra Simms.
The autopsy showed that she was strangled and beaten to death late Monday or early Tuesday.
Clarke County Sheriff Todd Kemp told WTOK, her boyfriend, Rodney Johnson, from Wayne County was taken into custody and he was the last person to have seen Simms alive.
Simms body was spotted by a woman and her kids Wednesday afternoon. The investigation is still ongoing and if you have any information on this call the Clarke County Sheriff’s office.
