SAUCIER, Miss. – If you are a parent you may find this appalling. Harrison County investigators told the Sun Herald Kelton McCuien picked up his son by the neck, choked him and whipped his legs with a belt after finding out his son got in trouble at school.
When the boy went back to school Tuesday, teachers saw the injuries. They called police. The dad is now behind bars on an assault charge at the Harrison County jail on a $35,000 bond. His son and his other children are in protective custody until a judge decides what happens next.
