JACKSON, Miss. — The inmate killed during a Monday afternoon fight at the Hinds County Detention Center in Raymond has been identified as Markuieze Bennett, 21.
The coroner said it appears he suffered severe head trauma. Bennet was facing strong armed robbery and violation of probation charges. At least five others were hurt in the fight.
