Ellisville, Miss.- A train derailed in Ellisville around 4:15 a.m. Friday morning. The train derailed under the Mississippi Highway 590 overpass at U.S. Highway 11 in Jones County.
No injuries were reported. How the train derailment happened is currently under investigation and officials said there is no danger to the public.
Roads are closed between Mississippi Highway 11 and Highway 29 while cleanup work. The American Red Cross is providing the workers with food.
