JACKSON, Miss. – April 28 is when oral arguments are will be heard at the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for a lawsuit challenging Mississippi’s law that could close the state’s last abortion Clinic.
In 2012 a law was passed requiring abortion clinic physicians to have admitting privileges to local hospitals. No one at the Jackson Women’s Health Organization was able to get privileges. Since, a federal judge has blocked the state from closing the clinic.
