JACKSON, Miss.–You’re in for a rainy weekend in Mississippi, with all parts of the state seeing at least a 40 percent chance of showers by Saturday night. Sunday looks rainy, too, and then cooler highs come in Monday. You’ll only see 50s for three days next week.
Today will seem very spring-like, with temps at 70 north, then mid to upper 70s everywhere else.
Saturday rain moves in, with smaller chances south, but a 60 percent chance north. By Saturday night, you should see at least some rain wherever you are in the state.
Rain chances were expected to stay at 30 percent Sunday, with temps in the 60s.
Monday is the big cool down, with highs in the 50s. Rain should be gone by Tuesday, but low 50s were expected then.
It was expected to warm back up into the 60s by next Thursday and Friday.
