LEXINGTON, Miss. — You can put this one in the category of miraculous. A Lexington man that was pronounced dead and taken to a funeral home is alive today.
Porter and Sons Funeral Home workers were getting ready to embalm Walter Williams Thursday when they say he started kicking inside the body bag. The corner, who pronounced him dead Wednesday night, thinks Williams’ pacemaker had stopped working and started again. Williams was taken to the hospital and family members say he’s happy to be alive.
