JACKSON, Miss. – Hunting supplies could get a tax free holiday. You could get some of your equipment tax free, like guns, bullets, bows and arrows.
The Mississippi house Tuesday, Feb. 25 passed a bill that would waive the taxes during the first weekend of September. They voted 86-27 to pass House Bill 1404.
While this is a savings for you, it could cost the state about $375,000 a year.
The bill has been held over for more work in the House.
