GRENADA, Miss. – Another blues marker added to the state. Mississippi Blues Trail added a marker to Grenada County Monday, February 24 at 3 p.m. at the Grenada Town Square.
They were given a marker for all the blues legends that have come from Grenada like: Big George Brock, Magic Sam and Magic Slim.
The Mississippi Blues Trail likes to consider themselves “a museum without walls,” with over 170 markers across the state representing blues history.
You will see these markers in places like blues clubs, restaurants, birth places and others that have had some kind of influence on the state’s blues history.
