JACKSON, Miss.–Veteran reporter Bert Case has a new television news job.
The iconic newsman was hired Friday by 16 WAPT in Jackson and will go work immediately. The station’s General Manager said Case will provide investigative reports that will air in all newscasts.
No stranger at WAPT, Case started his career there as news director in 1970, prior to moving to longtime ratings leader WLBT, where he worked more than three decades before retiring last month.
