A man from Walthall County was arrested Tuesday after firefighters responded to a burning mobile home. He was charged with murder and first-degree arson according to Assistant District Attorney Timothy Jones.
29-year-old Brian Fortenberry is accused of shooting his mother, Elizabeth Fortenberry, in the head and setting her home on fire.
Brian Fortenberry will stay in jail until his court appearance without bond.
