COLUMBUS, Miss. — Police are looking for the person that called a bomb threat into Columbus Middle School Tuesday.
Students were evacuated and taken by buses to an elementary school to wait for their parents to pick them up. The campus was searched by a bomb squad, state troopers and local police, but no explosive was found. Investigators say the person that made the prank call will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
This was at least the third bomb threat at the school in the last two years.
