COLUMBUS, Miss. — An employee of the Columbus Public School District has been arrested and charged with enticement of a child for lustful purposes.
Michael Jackson is the district’s public information officer and teaches choral at Columbus High School and Columbus Middle School. Police say he sent a 17-year old male student a text message and even used social media to arrange a meeting with the student. Jackson is at the Lowndes County jail. His initial court appearance is pending.
