ISOLA, Miss. –Singer-songwriter Hank Cochran was honored on the Mississippi Country Music Trail in Isola Tuesday morning. He was born there during the great depression. In his early life he did his fair share of traveling until he landed in Nashville at 24-years-old where he wrote the songs, “Fall to Pieces” and “She’s Got You,” which were both made popular by Patsy Cline in the early 60s.
Cochran went on to write several other songs made popular by artists like Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, and several others. He died at the age of 74 in 2010.
