A Laurel man has been charged for kidnapping his girlfriend.
25-year-old Falisa Carter has been missing since November 25th after she was last seen at her home on West 7th Street in Hattiesburg.
Her boyfriend, 32-year-old Demarcus McGruder, has now been charged with kidnapping in connection with Carter’s disappearance. McGruder was taken into custody, but the Hattiesburg Police Department is continuing the search for Carter.
She was last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt and gray tights.
The HPD stated that they are actively pursuing any and all leads, but they cannot comment any further on the investigation.
