Authorities are investigating after nooses were found on the grounds of the Mississippi Capitol this morning.
Capitol Police removed two nooses hanging from trees in front of the Capitol building this morning, and they are now looking for information on who put them there.
The grounds are monitored through the use of surveillance video, and authorities will now review the tape as they aim to identify a suspect.
The nooses were accompanied by several signs, which can be seen below.
