Yesterday Sherry Westmoreland of Harmontown was arrested by the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department on six counts of contributing to the delinquency or neglect of a child.
She is also charged with six counts of sex crimes against a minor.
Her husband, John Westmoreland, was charged earlier this month with 6 counts of molesting and touching a child for lustful purposes.
Sherry remains in the Lafayette County Detention Center awaiting initial appearance in front of a Lafayette County Justice Court Judge.
Further investigation into Johns case, their home and help from the victims will possibly lead to the additional charges.
