Monday afternoon the Vicksburg Police Department responded to 1001 First East Street in reference to a 17 year-old female who had been shot once in the neck area.
When they arrived they found her laying in the hall of the home and she was alert and talking. She was transported to UMMC in Jackson where she is listed in stable condition.
Yesterday officers arrested a 15 year-old male juvenile for shooting the 17 year-old.
He appeared in the Warren County Youth Court Court this morning and is being charged with aggravated assault. He is being held without bond at the Warren County Jail and this case will be forwarded to the next Grand Jury.
