JEFFERSON DAVIS COUNTY, Miss.–Another county in the state has agreed to trim down its seemingly inflated voter roll.
Jefferson Davis County filed a document in federal court late last week stating they would have their voting roll cleaned up by the end of January 2014.
They, along with Walthall County, were sued back in April by the American Civil Rights Union because according to the organization the counties had more registered voters on the rolls than people actually eligible to vote.
The process will include getting dead people, felons, and people that have moved away off the official list.
