Hinds County Sheriff’s said a man fell to his death from a cell tower near Utica Monday morning.
Major Pete Luke said the call came in to the 911 dispatch just before 10:00 a.m. Monday.
“The tower was being erected just off Hwy. 27 near Bear Creek Rd. in Utica,” Luke said.
He added that investigators are working to determine the cause of the accident.
“We know that there were at least two other men were working with the victim when the accident occurred,” Luke said. “No other injuries were reported.”
The name and age of the victim have not yet been released.
