SENATOBIA, Miss.–Taking over $5,000 from a trust fund at a nursing home where she worked is the accusation against 49-year-old Connie Morgan Belk of Sarah. She’s been indicted by a grand jury in Tate County and arrested.
Atty. Gen. Jim Hood says Belk could get ten years on the embezzlement charge. He said that while she was employed at the Senatobia Convalescence Center, she took five checks totaling almost $6,000 and kept the money for herself.
The money was supposed to go to the Resident Trust Fund Account.
