OLIVE BRANCH, Miss.–You might not realize it, but each year an award is handed out to a Mississippi Highway Patrolman who makes the most DUI arrests the previous year.
Trooper Chris White of Troop F was given the top honor on Thursday in Olive Branch for leading all his peers.
White was the only one to make over 300 DUI arrests in 2012 and tallied up a total of 315.
His Troop F in northeast Mississippi handed out over 1,600 DUI’s on the year and White patrols Prentiss County.
