CLEVELAND, Miss. – The eighth annual Otherfest kicks off this Saturday. It’s the Delta’s only all original Music Festival. There will be 18 bands on two different stages to look forward to this year. “All of them are better than the next,” says Otherfest organizer William Rogers.
This year’s Otherfest will be held in a new location just off Highway 61 North, just outside of Cleveland. The music you’ll hear there ranges from blues to electronic, pop rock to folk. There should be something for everybody, and if that was enough there will be food and art vendors too.
“We try to spread it out every year”
The music cranks up at noon on this Saturday, Sept. 20 and lasts till midnight. If you do feel like ending the party then, you pitch a tent camp out. Its free and a recommended good time. The festival is an all ages event, and pets are allowed. You can bring your own food and beverages if you want.
