Here’s a quick look at what’s going on this weekend across the state.
In North Mississippi, head over to the Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo’s 2017 Pumpkin Patch where they will have
hayrides, face painting, fall games, a bounce house, a small petting zoo, corn maze, and more.
In Central Mississippi, be sure to check out the 33rd annual “A Day in the Country” festival. That will be held on Saturday at the Chapel of the Cross in Madison. It all starts at 9 a.m. with breakfast and a 5k run. Attendees can expect arts & crafts vendors, live music all day, pony rides, a petting zoo, inflatables, and plenty of games for the kids.
In South Mississippi, check out the Cruisin’ the Coast festival on the coast. It’s hailed as being America’s largest block party. Car enthusiasts from 41 states plus Canada and Sweden will be there and each venue is set up as a mini festival with a stage for live bands, and vendors for food and event merchandise. The activities, which have been going on all week, will end on Sunday.
