FULTON, Miss.–Fulton’s hometown girl did the town and the state proud Sunday night. Chelsea Rick, Miss Mississippi, placed in the Top 15 finalists for Miss America.
The former Miss Amory Railroad Festival won the swimsuit/lifestyles competition last week in the preliminaries. She credited her parents for that, saying they promoted a healthy lifestyle from early childhood.
It was Miss New York, Nina Davuluri, who won the Miss America Title.
