The top-ranked, undefeated Pearl Pirates take on the #4 Madison Central Jaguars in the jungle. One of these teams will come away with their first loss this season.
The #8 Brandon Bulldogs will face the #9 Northwest Rankin Cougars. You’ll definitely see a shuffling of rankings after that matchup.
#3 Tupelo opening is up their regional play against Hernando.
Three top-ten teams are taking a bye week:
#6 Warren Central, who beat Neville (Louisiana) last week.
#5 Hattiesburg also taking tonight off, as well as #10 Oak Grove after a grueling game last Friday between the crosstown rivals that left Oak Grove without their starting quarterback. This week’s bye should give the Warriors some time to get healthy before opening conference play against George County next week.
