The match took place at Clinton High School on the Arrow Field over the weekend, ending with MS Brilla advancing to the PDL National Semi Finals.
MS Brilla won the PDL Southern Conference Championship on penalty kicks in order to advance to the semi finals.
Brilla shot 16 times in the match, just three more than FC Miami City’s. And according to a release by the Mississippi Brilla FC their best opportunity happened in the 90th minute when Javen Palmer latched on to Thomas Vancaeyezeele’s through ball. However, the strike flew over the bar.
Brilla has lost in penalty kicks in it’s last four playoff appearances, however this time they managed to come out on top. The location for the semi finals has not been announced yet, but there is a chance it could be back in Clinton.
