A jogger in Vancleave was attacked by three pit bulls Monday morning.
Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said the man told deputies he saw the dogs run off of a property while on his morning jog.
He said they charged and attacked him.
A neighbor saw what was happening. The jogger then claimed that when the dogs saw the neighbor, they turned away from him and started fighting each other.
Once the owner of the pit bulls is identified, he’ll be charged with violating leash laws in the area.
