JACKSON, Miss. – Ever wanted a free education? This might be your chance, at least if you want to be a teacher.
You can get up to $15,000 a year though the Teacher Education Scholars Program, but you have to agree to teach at Mississippi public schools for at least five years. Also, you need a 3.5 high school GPA, and a score of 28 on the ACT. There are only 100 slots available so if this interests you apply. The deadline is September 15.
