Quite a change of pace from the rain we have seen over the past few days. It looks like clear skies and sunshine in the forecast for the next few days.
In North Mississippi it’s staying sunny and clear with highs in the mid 80’s. Things are looking to stay dry with those highs just outside the norm.
“This afternoon we expect clear conditions, it’s going to be warm across the state,” said David Cox with the National Weather Service.
Much of the same in Central and Southern Mississippi. With highs around 85 and no chance of rain until Sunday. At the end of the weekend the rain chances pick up to about 30-50 percent.
“Tonight will be nice and pleasant in the lower 60’s,” said Cox.
