JACKSON- The Lane of Lanterns kicks off at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum on Friday, May 19.
The fun will begin at 7 p.m. and wrap up around 10 p.m. The Ag Museum is located at 1150 Lakeland Dr., Jackson MS 392160, next to the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Smith-Wills Stadium.
“It is a showcase of Mississippi Chefs, Mississippi wineries, we also have a lot of talented caterers that are coming,” said Van Waites, with the Museum. “They will also be supplying little tastings of what they do.”
The tickets cost $40 in advance and $50 at the door. All proceeds are going to help rebuild, and expand the Ag Museum.
The Session will be playing all night long. Also included is a silent auction.
“We anticipate raising a lot of money for the Ag Museum to start the new project for the kids,” said Waites.
