JACKSON- The online volunteer registration for the 2017 Sanderson Farms Championship opened on May 2, 2017.
The championships allows volunteers to serve as hospitality suite ambassadors, inside the ropes as hole marshals, ShotLink operators, or walking the course as a Pro-Am caddie or standard bearer.
Executive Director Steve Jent said,”We are grateful that we have many groups and individuals who volunteer in order to make our PGA TOUR event the best it can be. Their efforts are the key to a successful tournament.”
Volunteers will receive a package that includes a Sanderson Farms Championship logo-ed golf shirt and hat, two weekly credentials, the Opportunity to play a round at the Country Club of Jackson (minimum 20 hours worked), food and beverage during shifts, and invitations to volunteer-only events. The package is valued at $300, but the volunteer fee is only $45.
