State lawmakers return to the Capital on June 5th to finish the upcoming year’s budget.
Governor Bryant making the announcement Tuesday afternoon on Facebook saying that, “In the interest of providing proper notice to taxpayers and to members of the Legislature, I am announcing that the special session to complete the budget for fiscal year 2018 will be June 5.”
Right now, there’s no budget set for the Mississippi Department of Transportation and the Attorney General’s Office.
