Does your spring cleaning routine involve washing the exterior of your home? Do you even HAVE a spring cleaning routine??
Mississippi’s Handyman Buddy Slowik has been using this formula for years. It’s cheap, safe, efficient, and will keep the exterior of your home looking brand-spanking-new for years.
In a garden sprayer, mix:
1/2 cup of TSP (trisodium phosphate. It’s a mild detergent.)
1 quart of chlorine bleach
2 gallons of water
Buddy says mix your TSP with the warm water first, so your sprayer won’t clog up. Spray liberally onto the sides of your house, let it sit for 5 minutes, then RINSE THOROUGHLY. It can leave some messy streaks on your windows if you don’t knock it down with plenty of water.
