JACKSON, Miss. — The Jackson Rhythm and Blues Festival gets underway Friday night, bringing you the largest line up in the region for two days music, food, and entertainment. It all takes place at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum.
“Why should you have to drive three hours to Memphis or to New Orleans to see amazing music, when you can see it right here in Jackson Mississippi,” said Marika Cackette with the Jackson Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The top headliners Dr. John and the Nite Trippers, Mint Condition, Urban Mystic, Leela James, Tab Benoit, Bobby Rush, and Dorothy Moore.
Parking will be at the Ag Museum, but if its filled up there will be a shuttle from Veterans Memorial Stadium.
