North Mississippi feeling heavy wind and rain this morning, with more storms growing stronger as the morning moves along: expect a chance for severe weather today and tonight. The farther north you live, the more likely you’re in for thunderstorms today, and you can’t rule out the chance for tornadoes. Things WILL clear up this week, however: tomorrow look for lots of sunshine with a high in the upper 70s.
Central Mississippi also under threat from some damaging storms today. Look for scattered thunder throughout your Monday. You could also see some hail thrown in the mix as well. Things will take a little longer to clear up for you this week: you’re in for some light showers tomorrow morning, but look for sunshine on Wednesday.
South Mississippi not escaping the chance for severe weather today: your chances are much lower than the rest of the state, but don’t count yourself out for some strong thunderstorms with chances for hail and damaging winds as well. Look for sunshine to return for you tomorrow.
