JACKSON, Miss.–You can get ready for a couple of days with cooler and less heavy air before the weekend brings the humidity back to Mississippi.
It’s pretty rare to get highs in the mid to upper 80s in mid-August in the state, but that’s what you’ll see state-wide for Thursday and Friday.
Some places may get a shot at a shower Friday afternoon, but for the most part it’s sunny with just a few clouds and a high just under 90. By Saturday the air will start to feel more humid, but temps may stay slightly below normal into next week.
