Maybe these two thieves in Biloxi should give up crime and become movie stuntmen.
According to Lt. Chris Deback of the Biloxi police department, this duo launched their pre-dawn caper this morning by stealing a U-Haul. They then proceeded to Suzuki City Kawasaki in the 200 block of 211 Beauvoir Road, stealing two motorcycles which were then loaded into the U-Haul.
Speeding away from motorcyle shop with their hot cargo, the duo was spotted headed toward I-10 and a police chase commenced. To avoid capture, the duo jumped from the U-Haul while it was STILL RUNNING.
After fleeing into the woods, one of the suspects was nabbed with the help of a K-9 officer. The U-Haul meandered along I-10 for a brief interval, before coming to rest on a median. With the exception of a close brush with an 18-wheeler, the U-Haul survived relatively unscathed. The second suspect was apprehended a short time later.
