In North Mississippi today, sunny with a high in the mid 50’s, overnight lows in the mid 30’s, and a slight breeze is keeping things chilly.
Central Mississippi, highs hanging around 60, mid 30’s overnight with a calm wind.
And South Mississippi, highs in the 60’s, lows in the 40’s with a breeze kicking around 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Now looking ahead you’re going to see the same daytime highs in the 60’s, but it’s Friday night that those clouds will roll back in.
We’re looking for a wet weekend statewide with rain showers moving in early Saturday and sticking around all day.
Saturday highs in the 60’s, in South Mississippi, 50’s North and Central, with lows dropping into the 40’s as the rain continues.
Sunday, even greater chances of rain with highs in the 50’s and 60’s statewide, lows in the 40’s, and then Monday brings thunderstorms.
